[Venturaojaidances] Dances of Universal Peace Weekend with Shabda Kahn--May 1-3 in San Diego

Beloved Dancers of Universal Peace,
You are invited to participate in a wonderful weekend of Dances of Universal Peace, zikr and Sufi practices in San Diego on May 1-3, 2009.

Led by Pir Shabda Khan, spiritual director of the Sufi Ruhaniat International, master musician, and direct disciple of Murshid Samuel Lewis (originator of the Dances of Universal Peace), Shabda brings a deep attunement to the Dances and their spiritual transmission.  He travels the world leading Dance retreats and we feel very privileged to be having this time with him in Southern California.

The event cost is $160 if you register before April 17, and $175 after.

The San Diego dance circle is hosting this event and has provided a housing coordinator to help out-of-town participants find affordable (maybe even free) places to stay.
